Day 2 : Jakarta City Tour (B, L, D)
Today, our tour begins by visiting the Old Port of Sunda Kelapa as a living museum of Phinisi sailing ships, in North Jakarta. A historical place where trading activities have taken place since pre-colonial times, a trading center for Indonesian export commodities. To this day loading and unloading activities are still taking place there, the tour continues to the Maritime Museum (Museum Bahari), one of the former VOC spice warehouses. Continue to visit the Batavia Square area (old City Hall). Then seeing pass by the Presidential Palace, national Monument (MONAS), Grand Mosque (4th world's biggest) and the St Mary Jakarta Cathedral. After lunch we visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, (Indonesian Miniature Parks) is the Indonesian showcases the sheer diversity of this archipelago of approximately 18,000 islands. The 247-acre (150-hectare) space houses full-scale replicas of homes from different provinces, cultures, plus museums, theaters, gardens.
